A Cook's Wares® was
started by Byron and Gail Bitar. Byron studied French cooking
while working toward his PhD in Philosophy at the University of
Virginia. That experience later spawned the company, which has
operated as a mail order company since its inception in 1981.
 We are located in Western
Pennsylvania about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh. We
recently opened a new store in the town of Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Our former location in West Mayfield, Beaver Falls is now closed to
the public and operates only as our mail-order warehouse and catalog
& website headquarters. Please visit us in Beaver!
