Returns

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. In addition to the factory warranties that come with most of our products, A Cook's Wares offers a 30 day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with any item, please return it within 30 days of receipt and we will refund 100% of the cost of the product, or send a replacement, whichever you choose. Shipping costs are not refundable unless the item was defective or damaged when you received it. Any books returned for credit must still be in mint condition.  Package and insure your return and send to:

You may call us at 800-915-9788 (between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday, or Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm EST) prior to returning an item to tell us whether you want a refund (if you paid by check), a credit (if you paid by credit card), or an exchange. You may also enclose a note with your return stating how you would like us to handle the return. Closeout Items can not be returned unless defective or damaged during shipment.

  

Shipping

We generally ship in-stock items within 2 business days of the receipt of the order. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, except for New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Our shipping schedule reflects ground charges. We determine the carrier. If you give us a post office box as your shipping address or prefer to have post office delivery, your shipping charges may vary, depending on the weight and destination of your package. Please call
1-800-915-9788 (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm EST) for those shipping costs.

If you wish to ship to Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, APO or FPO addresses, we will figure your shipping charge by adding the exact post office costs plus insurance and a $5.00 handling fee.

Please check addresses carefully for accuracy. We are not responsible for delays or additional charges due to incorrect information. We verify all credit card orders with the billing address.

For UPS 3rd Day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, shipping is calculated based on size and weight of the package.  If you want to utilize express shipping, make a note in the comments field of your order indicating which service you would like.  The shipping charges on your receipt will not be accurate.  You may request, on your order, to be notified of the shipping cost before it is sent.

Gift Wrapping

We will gift wrap most of our merchandise for $4.50 per item. To have something gift wrapped, simply check the gift wrap box next to the item in your shopping cart.  We will enclose a complimentary gift card if you use the comments field to tell us what you want written in the gift card.  Oversized items, such as Food Processors, Cookware Sets, Stand Mixers, and All-Clad Tool Sets, cannot be gift wrapped.

  

Privacy Policy

The privacy of our customers is very important. Customer e-mail addresses are never given to any third parties. Mailing addresses are sometimes rented to third parties A Cook's Wares deems appropriate. If you do not want your name or mailing address made available to third parties, please make a note to that effect in the comments field of your order. A Cook's Wares takes great care to ensure the privacy of our customers.

  1. Can I still order if an Item is Temporarily out of Stock?


  2. Yes. In most circumstances any order made on item(s) that are Temporarily out of Stock are put on back order, which means we ship your order as soon as we receive the item(s). Sometimes, certain items are not produced anymore by the manufacturer. In this case, we will give you a full refund.

  3. Can I search by Item Number?


  4. Yes. Just enter the item number in the "Keyword/ Item# Search" Box (top right corner) and press enter.

  5. What can I search with "Keyword/ Item# Search"?


  6. You can search by item number, product name, the starting letters of a product/ manufacturer, productline (e.g. pan) etc.

    Or if you are not sure how to spell a word, enter the first few letters, then hit enter. For example, type in "Henc" for Henckels.
